*Home visit availability is limited and available on a case by case basis. Home visits are offered within a 15 minute radius of Hammondsport, NY and within a 15 minute radius of Penn Yan, NY. Home visits will incur a $50 convenience & travel fee.
Visits beyond this radius may be available but will incur an additional travel fee.

I am a kind, gentle and caring IBCLC who wants to partner with you to achieve your breastfeeding goals. Let's face it, breastfeeding--although natural, can be difficult. It can also be a wonderful and rewarding bonding experience with benefits that last a lifetime.
After 7 collective years of education, >1,000 intensive clinical lactation training hours and working with hundreds of mothers and babies, I delivered my daughter. I soon faced many challenges with breastfeeding-- ranging from latch issues and cracked nipples, to plugged ducts and mastitis. Two years later, I experienced a slew of new feeding and latch issues after delivering my son. I now have a whole new perspective on lactation care.
Helping families breastfeed is the most rewarding work I could ever imagine doing. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to ensure a positive experience that benefits you and your baby.

What is an IBCLC?
IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. An IBCLC is a health care professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. This is the "gold standard" for lactation care, requiring 1,000 hours of supervised clinical experience with mothers and babies, lactation-specific education, college-level health science courses and successfully passing a board exam.
There are many other types of lactation assistants (CLC, CBE, CLE, etc) who provide basic breastfeeding support, but they are not substitutes for an IBCLC who is a clinical professional.
